Giving back to the Community

As a non-profit organization, the East Texas Gas Producers Association prides itself on giving back to the communities in which our members live and work.

For many years we have provided scholarship funds to graduating high school students who are purusing degrees applicable to the oil and gas industry – Engineering, Geology, Petroleum Technology, etc.  Many of these scholarships have been renewed each year as the student progresses through their higher education.  We have also contributed to the scholarship funds of our local colleges to help their students with the cost of education.

Along with individual scholarships, the organization has contributed funds in the form of teachers grants to local high schools and lab equipment to our local colleges.

We attempt to promote good will and groom the next generation for our industry by helping our young people achieve their educational goals!

Past recipients, be sure to check back with us each spring to apply to renew your scholarship!  Send an email to scholarships@etgpa.com and we’ll respond right away.

Congratulations to our 2011 Scholarship Winners!
